During the COVID lockdown, I transformed personal photos of friends and pets into paintings. My goal was to make them look like 18th or 19th-century portraits, as if painted by revered artists for noble clients. The result is a collection where companions and familiar faces become gentry, their portraits showcasing historical grandeur.
